When banks fail to run their business properly, are gifted money by the gov-mint to make up for their mistakes, ruin the economy temporarily, and then SCREW UP the foreclosure by not hiring competent people to execute things properly I tend to not have much sympathy for them.

This will probably be a profitable trend that continues and expands in other directions for increasingly revenue-strapped government entities.After all, LLs are 'big fat rich' targets who cannot easily walk away, and who generate zero sympathy from the voting class.

@Brian Reynolds  I  think you struck the right note by giving an extension in sympathy to their being in the fire zone and having their lives a little messy for a bit.

As much as I have sympathy for domestic abuse situations, the reality is that the most likely scenario is that the husband is back in the house in a week or two, rinse and repeat until such time as the wife leaves in the middle of the night to go to a shelter.
