High EMF readings could be given off  by electrical  boxes (in or outside the house),cell  towers, and other kinds  of electrical objects. 

In this year that we’ve been here, the dryer has broken and leaked on to our first story, we have had a leak in our roof, 2 celling fans have broke, and other little things here and there.

Cancel anything that is not needed (cell phones, cable, literally anything).

The contractors I do find, those that would even answer their phones, want cash payment, no receipt...my cell phone was running out of juice, and no power at home or rental to charge. 

The only problem is that it is literally right next to a huge cell tower, with a bedroom view of it.

A good resource is the Journal of Light Construction (JLC) and Fine Home Building.

I haven't had much experience with syndication, but I know the PMs I work with, I always get their cell phone number and for the most part just text.
