I enjoy the long haul so I’m more focused on holding than selling individual units. 

I have been toying with the idea of selling it instead of renting do to the location to me. 

I would then shop around for different hauling companies to get the cheapest price you can and i would check into if you need dumpsters or not, you may have to pay your own hauler but may still be able to put it in garbage cans. one thing you should look into though, if you now have to pay separate for garbage removal, make sure you get either reduced taxes or some kind of credit back every year from the town for the change. i know the town that i live in does that with commercial properties.

I have plenty of friends with much nicer cars than I have, nicer clothes, better toys, but my sacrificing those things gave me something that they don't have; freedom. 

We actually toyed with the idea of renting year round once we knew we'd spend a few months down there so that we had a place to run off too any time.

Move to less expensive housing, cancel all your electronic toys, spend less time and money with friends etc.If you make saving and investing your priority in life you will be amazed at how much money you are actually wasting on useless items every month.

We have all experienced wiping out a year or more of positive cash flow in a single expense or numerous expenses in quick succession but realise over the long haul we will/should come out ahead if we buy right.

I understand my journey as a real estate investor will take some time to become financially independent, but I am in it for the long haul!
