I'm 25 years old, and all I have ever known since age 18 is having roommates.I listed the rooms on all the online platforms, and then I would meet interested candidates in the city for a drink after work (assuming they passed my initial screening of all their social media).

There's excessive alcohol,  drugs and prostitutes everywhere. 

Lastiy, we've built a great community in our building, we all feed each other's pets when we travel, get together once in a while for drinks, etc.Even when I had Sec 8 rentals, I was "the owner".

Other then that, there is always taking up drinking....
