Sending you a copy of a driver’s license is actually another sign that it was a scam.

I had 2 plumbers trying to scam me into big repairs for something they totally made up! 

It's those maniacs that buy homes cash via quit claim deed off of craigslist that really get screwed.Make sure your property manager is a licensed real estate brokerage.Google Clayton Morris scam and/or Morris Invest scam for a cautionary tale of what not to do when buying turnkey real estateUnderstand you can not eliminate all risk, only mitigate it.

You could send a letter to that effect yourself but that will not accomplish anything.They are operating a scam, most likely contrary to your state landlord tenant regulations, and nothing short of a threat of legal action will have any effect on them.The owner of the park needs to be threatened with legal action.

Put a big sign in the window warning about the scam and that showings are only done through (whatever your process is). 

They can put it on the tenant's credit report and perhaps prevent the tenant from scamming someone else, buying a car, or whatever.

This PM company sounds like a scam.

What's more, they had a car loan from one of the scam dealers that sold them an overpriced lemon with a 20%+ interest rate.

Don't want to purchase a scam product.  

To make a long story short I was totally scammed, I know I didn't do enough due diligence now, but as being new to it all sounded so wonderful I  got caught up in the fever of making a great ROI.
