That said, the returns they offer pale in comparison to what you can get by doing a little work on your own and buying deals off the MLS.In any case, we love to talk all things real estate and love to help others getting started in the spirit of giving back!

There are numerous people that successfully BRRRR themselves.I agree with @Michael Paling, especially when he mentioned renting out the additional units after purchasing a multifamily property.

Sure Dunkin Donuts has some drinks but pales in comparison to what Starbucks offers.

@yang;  he'll pay cap gains via installment sale tax treatment which is to his advantage. 

@Patty Arville, I just posted something to another person’s post that was looking for Coaching as well so I will say the same thing here because it applies: BiggerPockets and REIA meetings and books can provide a good foundation, but in my mind, they pale in comparison to a good coach.

Steve Forbes comes to mind and I think Andrew Yang had something similar proposed.

Your value should pale to your insurance value.
