I'm currently based in Logrono where prices are much more affordable but am also looking in the Valencia region.

As has been mentioned, location doesn't really matter, especially on the East Coast where unique 1031 regimes are rare at the state level.  

but keep in mind CA has higher taxes and reg fees and I’m not doing more than 1-2 flips (short timeframe flips)  a year and many years do 0 flipsDo most flippers put flips into LLC Or in personal name (sole proprietor)  in CA (where you must pay $800 yearly plus accounting and other fees $300to $600+ yearly to maintain LLC) Pros for personal name-save on taxes accounting.

If you’re in a market where you have to spend money on roofs, or exterior paint that’s ctainly you can save up for.

Where the loans go wrong is usually not with the loan terms.

This is primarily for MF where there are greater economies of scale.

I hear what Zeona is saying, but it may be irrelevant if say you are in the North San Fernando Valley where people from the Palisades aren't going.
