I have a good painter and drywall repair guy.

A painter will paint rather than clean.

That said, those who are commonly thought of as subcontractors (painters, tile-setters, etc.) and want to contract directly with those other than licensed Contractors, then they must have the MHIC Contractors license and not merely the Subcontractor one.

Was also thinking it might be easier to have painters, handyman and or maid service do everything all at once instead of going back and fourth. 

But then other months you will pay the taxes, pay the insurance bill, pay for a painter or a new AC or a lawyer.

A good painter is about $4-5.00 per foot if I hire that out. and then adding in the miscellaneous… which I could also probably break down but for the sake of the ballpark it’s going to be about another $5-10 per foot. 

I did an addition 2 years ago , the homeowner couldnt make up her mind about paint colors , she picked the paint and the painters were there , she then changed her mind , she ate the paint cost , and had to pay for the painters for the day .

There are painters and carpet guys that will agree to be paid at closing.

The per diem varies between an engineer, project manager, general foreman, welder, fitter, boilermaker, electrician, inspector, scaffold builder, painter, sandblaster or jizz mopper.
