We really want to focus on passive income and find a way to eventually (hopefully sooner rather than later) ditch our day jobs and really focus on real estate (specifically in AZ).

If the $45k car either is needed for a sales job (lame that it matters, but sometimes it does) hold onto it, otherwise I'd ditch it for something practical.

A big part of the price was all the companies wanting to install sump pump even though current drain tile already had piping going out to a ditch.

Might be paranoid, but being remote (and probably not a plumber, electrician or builder, but I'm just guessing), an internal issue of magnitude could cost you far more than those $2,500.Would be very interested in hearing how this all turned out - good luck, stay firm, and DEFINITELY ditch that guy, I'd say.
