@Bridger L Logan was the only possible reason you shouldn’t would be if it’s in a neighborhood you’re worried about getting shot in, if you don’t have adequate reserves for vacancy and repairs, or if your time is so valuable that managing it would distract you from higher dollar per hour work.

You might want to look into investors like Michael Blank or Sterling White who, as I understand it, aimed for multi family syndications from the beginning, and in so doing developed their essential skill set early on, instead of getting distracted with the day to day of smaller properties.
