Rehabbing in Chicago and Looking for Contractor Introductions

Hi BP Community! I'm diving into the Chicago market (city neighborhoods) and am planning to rehab and sell single family homes (initially) or some 2-3 flats. Depending on the scope of work to be done, I'm targeting projects between 30-90 days (SFH or multi) from purchase to listing, and need to put together a solid team on the ground that can get through multiple projects a year.

I am hoping for some introductions to reliable and trustworthy contractors that have a great team of skilled labor partners to make everything run smoothly. I an debating whether to have a Project Manager to be on the site daily or if I'll oversee the projects myself. It's all about time and getting to the next deal.

I would be more than grateful for any recommendations or connections anyone would be willing to offer. I'm looking primarily in the West Chicago to Near North neighborhoods in order to keep projects close to home so I can be available as needed. Currently not seeking HML's to start, and may consider investors who may wish to get involved. I have a secure financial foundation of my own to finance the initial projects and any profits will be rolled into the next property.

In attempt for full disclosure, I have a very solid sales and marketing background, but left corporate America not long ago to change course and dive into REI. I've had a long time passion for all things RE related and now have the financial means to leave my full time role "working for the man" and use all of that energy and RE aspirations to focus on this full time, without any distraction from a 9-5 day job. It's my 200% commitment and focus and I will do everything to stay on schedule/budget to make this a truly successful endeavor of self-sufficient income and long-term financial security.

Thanks to everyone so far for your support and encouraging words, and thank you in advance for everyone who still is to come! May 2014 bring everyone great success!!
