They're most likely trying to buy so they can demo and develop the land.

The city is now going on their fifth demo on this short street.

I refuse to use Appfolio because I did a demo with them a few years ago and it took over 2 years to get them to stop calling me every week. 

Laminate flooring, light fixtures, painting, back splash, faucets, demos,  and drywall.

I'm thinking to demo the building and hope that someone will pay 5k for the lot to get some of that money back.But I would love to hear if anyone else has a similar story or other suggestions on what to do?

I am in the process of doing demos for rent manager and Buildium and both seem robust.  

The last job, a bath tub demo, was quoted at $10k which is absurd.My condo will eventually be a rental and I am looking for a small, Seattle,WA based contractor or handyman that can help me with some small plumbing and electrical projects but who isnt going to force feed me italian marble inlays in my shower.Anyone out there have a good reasonable guy/gal who can help?

Hi Cameron, I think a great place to start is to go to the REI meet ups, there are a bunch of them in the area and you can choose the ones that are not product specific (some include demos of software products or courses).

Basically can send out an automatic monthly invoice for you, coordinate maintenance, etc.Someone at a Meetup was plugging their own PM SaaS (I'm in the Bay Area so this happens kinda often...) and they showed me a demo -- that also looked pretty good since they had Twilio integration which basically allows for you to push SMS texts out to your contractors, etc.
