That's why I think owning your mistake could be a good chance of correction, because you didn't know right, and while a judge will not care maybe, just MAYBE the person will, if you own the mistake, apologize authentically, and work to make amends. 

Just be prepared if there is a problem with a guest and the OTA knows you took communication off their platform, you run a strong possibility of the OTA taking the guests side since they can't prove the authenticity of the communication. 

Perhaps it's missing an authentic cultural feel.

My suggesting on this, is to pick a thesis where you can bring authentic value to the table when speaking to the owner.

The letter she provided was authentic last year, but this year she manipulated the date and submitted it again rather than seeking an updated letter. 

Sometimes I see newer investors try to be to smart and talk to much, its ok to ask a lot of questions, just be authentic.
