To my knowledge, excluding deployment, the longest a NG/RES Soldier has training in a YR is 14 consecutive days and then obviously drill once a month (on a weekend).Like previous posters have said ask the tenant to provide a copy of orders.

A friend of mine, one of my former Soldiers, is currently a realtor there, and has been sending me listings, around the top suburbs of the Dallas/Fort Worth metropolitan area.  

Wondering if there are any fellow veterans out there with experience in real estate that wouldn't mind sharing some insight and advice on how they went from the soldier to successful (or unsuccessful) civilian real estate investor, leveraged their VA loan, house hacked, etc.

Not sure if you knew but in total they will have brought around 30-40k new soldiers into the city plus their families.
