Am I getting screwed?

I'm trying to track back through email and figure out where closing costs fell out of the agreement because they were in the original offer agreement the realtor sent me - I specifically looked to be sure everything we asked for was included - but I did have a couple changes so he sent a revised, we signed through dotloop electronically and somehow the second version didn't have the closing costs and because of the method he used to send it, I can't even see the original version because its been deleted.

How do you keep your expense receipts organized?

Once the rehab is done, I have all the receipts entered into quickbooks by my CPA's assistant and then I have an electronic means to see the profitablity of each project as each one is assigned a class in quickbooks. It has been suggested to me by others to also keep a log/talley of every expense by simply writing each item down in a log book so at any given time, I can see how much has been spent on each project.
