Hi everyone. I'm Mike from CT. I joined BP a few weeks ago and am now starting to dive into my new adventure of real estate investing.

Here's a quick into/background on myself. I grew up helping my parents maintain a few multi-family rentals for as many years as I can remember. I joined the Marines and was an F-18 Electrician for four years before coming back to CT and getting a BS in Electronics Technology. While going to college, I worked with my father in his handyman business. This was a great experience and I learned a lot about home repair, but know my limitations. After getting my degree, I moved on into a field utilizing all of my schooling and training. I'm now a Quality Engineer in CT, and have considered flipping for the past 10 years or so. Now that I have a little money saved up, I've decided to take a stab at it.

I came across BP during my google searches, while trying to get information about flipping houses. It's been the best resource I've come across and signed up immediately. I've been reading every chance I can and listening to podcasts every time I'm in my car heading to work or coming come. My current goal is to successfully complete a flip and turn a profit. I realize there's a lot of research, time and work that goes into this process, so with the resources I've found on BP, I hope to make my first flip a sucessful one. This way I can continue and potentially make this a permanent side income or full time job.

Thanks, and I hope to meet many of you along the way.

Mike
