It's a good quick first option for treating an area before replacing subfloors, but as others have suggested replacing the carpet and padding is a good idea. 

Expect to spend 10-15K on a smartly purchased used one -  assuming your pad, electric, and plumbing are all effectively setup on the land.

They will not give you their focus and will seek to maximize their fees by padding repair costs they charge you.  

Upset, the repairman asked me to sign a blank page of a computer pad to pay for his service call which was higher than the $99 fee when he had quoted before arriving at my house.

The options we have thought of are,-Let someone park an RV/Tiny home on the concrete pad that is located on the lot-sell the lot to a developer/contractor-build on the lot and sell the property.

Even if I'm going to spend 6k per year for 3 years, I'll add 18K to my purchase price to add some padding.

Too many handymen and contractors, especially on small punchlist type jobs, try to get away with a total number to cover all the work, so that they can hide high or padded labor charges.
