I did get by well enough with no computer for years but only because I have always had an iPhone which can do almost everything a laptop can, thought not always as well or as easily. now streaming services I agree are luxuries that aren’t always needed whenever I have found myself nearing financial stress, the first things I let lapse are Netflix etc. even now that we have been more stable and doing well financially, the only things I still have subscriptions to are Apple Music and HBO max.

@Michael Glunk I’d get a keurig and a creative assortment or coffee pods, stock the fridge up with breakfast type things, OJ, Apple juice, 1/2&1/2, medium size 2% milk, small fruit basket with bananas, apples, oranges, and some muffins from grocery store in a plastic 4 pack container so they will last several days.
