I consider the entire metro to be around 2000-2500 square miles (depending on where you would draw the line of being within the 'metro')around 1/3 of these 309 homes exist with a 30 square mile zone, specifically East of Troost (a street in KC) in what I would consider to be the urban core.As you can imagine, as we get closer to the 50 end of the range, these homes generally will always need significant repairs to make rent ready.

From the Austin-American Statesman:"In one of the largest economic development projects in Austin’s history, electric automaker Tesla says it will build a $1.1 billion assembly plant in Travis County that will employ 5,000 people.Wages at the factory — to be located on 2,100 acres off Texas 130 and Harold Green Road — will start at $35,000 annually, counting benefits, bringing job opportunities and investment to a southeastern portion of the county that officials say is sorely in need of them.It will produce the electric vehicle maker’s upcoming Cybertruck electric pickup, as well as be a second site to build its Model Y SUV.

Not to mention, when repairs are needed, with a forced air furnace the entire heating part of the system is indoors (only the AC compressor is outside).

With such an older home trying to update those is very tricky because very rarely are things perfectly square. should have just painted over original doors and changed the hardware. a cost that didn't need to be spent ultimately as it wasn't a big difference maker.
