This increase in most markets results in a mortgage payment greater than 50% higher than at theno, in this case you are wrong, in CA our income to mortgage ratio is about 0.63, in midwest it's about 0.36 still, they only need to add 200 bucks per month to accomodate 5-6% interest.James is right, we think it's nation issue but it's more into CA issue.Not sure of the accuracy of your numbers but Ratio is not the full story.
