Even though Im in a different continent altogether, I still believe that real estate basics/concepts should remain similar globally, with the exception of the big L “Law” and this I have taken into account.Real Estate experience: I have owned a single 2 bedroom home since 2013 which ive used as a rental property.

We have family members who have owned rentals in other sections of OBX and it's not easy having positive ROI on beach houses with how high all the expenses are.I think global warming is a bigger issue for OBX and any other barrier island though.

As they say, cashflow if your "defense" --it helps ensure that you aren't at risk of losing the property...but appreciation is the "offense" that allows you to build real wealth
