IE, is there return in updating the old heating and cooling systems, or adding beds/baths, or interior updates (why everyone wanted to use wood paneling is compelling beyond me!)?

So I was wondering what other people's thoughts were on the idea of adding solar panel to a home that you are flipping?  

you have to (pick your expense) - replace that electrical panel, replace the roof, etc.

Do adding Solar Panels to a home impact the value?

If nothing else, they may be able to at least answer the question of what to do regarding panel access for your upper unit.

One was a grounding rod for the electrical panels which caused my insurance to cancel since it was a fire hazard.

Replace a federal pacific or zinsco panel perhaps.

The city generally goes for full replacement automatically, so if you can avoid it by grinding, it is far better.When I have had to have panels replaced, I got quotes from contractors and found most of them had minimum charges.

As it stands, we're using PMHI (https://www.pmhi.com/) to get all of our panels (including set-in windows, but we're otherwise on the hook for everything else from standing these panels up to trenching our utilities and roofing our house.
