There is a ton of it going on and builders are buying old ranch homes for $250k, demoing them, rebuilding new, larger (3,500sf)  more open floor plans homes and selling them for $850k-$900k.

if i was actually expected to buy a house without INspecting it, would subtract a full INterior demo (walls, ceilings, fixtures, floors) as well as subtract the replacement cost..in essence, would be offering on the land value if not shown an interior as there's little/no proof there is one behind closed doors.

If you don't know construction so what offer to put out bandit signs, clean up for them during a rehab trust me no one like to clean up after doing demo to a house.

Of the 5 or 6 that do have basements, they areall unfinished and are in the older houses.Newer houses with basements tend to be out of my price range.Even if they were finished, I demo all of them and tell every tenantthe same thing.
