As of right this minute there 378 HUD owned homes for sale in the State of Florida...Everything from a 4/2 in Jacksonville for under $ 20,000, to a large Victorian in Walt Disney's "hometown America" community of Celebration, FL for just under $ 400,000.If you are a new investor, find a Realtor that is HUD approved and take a look at the diversity of what HUD has for sale.

These would be areas where there is little to no diversity among properties, maybe in a very large and new development or, as another poster pointed out, where location is the only factor.Not all, but the vast majority of markets in the US are diverse.
