Honestly, the use of the loss vs. a 1031 made things simpler (at least in my mind), as the purchase of the apartments has been a roller coaster ride with a ton of moving parts (I'll be posting more about that in another post).

The other one I re-screened a couple years ago and replaced the rollers, but it appears some settling tweeked the frame (my handyman says the bottom plate is no longer level) and the screen doesn't want to slide anymore.
