My mission is to leverage some raw land that we own into a family legacy.  

Buying a commercial building, flipping properties, buying some tax liens, and buying a raw piece of land!  

If you are getting 12 acres of raw land right next to the deal then that might mean the land has very little value.  

As an experience importer I am also beginning to look at importing raw materials such as finishing fixtures, cabinets, tile, etc.

There are a few people on this forum that work with raw land.

I do work for buyers and sellers of raw land but when it comes to house deals for investor buyers, I kind of leave that to others. 

If anyone has a contact for an knowledgeable realtor with experience in development of raw land in the Kailua Kona area of the big island of Hawaii.

A local agent he contacted said they would recommend listing at $11kAn improved property in the area recently sold for $95k (1/1, 702 SF):  http://www.zillow.com/homes/for_sale/Costilla-Coun...I'm such a newbie working on investing here in FL and have never worked a deal in raw land, so I have no idea how to steer him in the right direction.  

Leaning towards investing in raw land, but still looking at all possibilities.
