I didn't get the job and the state turned more and more blue, so I decided against it.

The showers/bathtubs are a really odd blue color, but are in really good shape so I was leaning towards leaving them.

Tankless being smaller and lighter can be installed in attic.

Typically it involves just stuffing insulation everywhere but it can involve - depending on budget and customer goals - other features such as eco friendly siding and eco friendly insulation (we used recycled blue jeans one time).If the house has been deemed historical by the City and you have to work with an Historical Committee, then you will have your hands full.

There have been many different materials used most notably ABS (black), PVC (white), CPVC (Tannish/Yellow), and Pex (clear,red,blue).

Avoid blue states at all cost.
