Flipping houses and owning a painting business can actually complement each other very well, in terms of cross-selling services, developing connections, and new opportunities among other things.I guess my point is, before leaving an existing venture, make sure you have formally done your diligence via a business model, business plan, marketing strategy, etc.

My friend's concern, however, is that the landlord may be trying to formalize their relations so that he may eventually evict them, as many of the legacy tenants in this apartment building have been evicted or "pressured" to vacate for frivolous reasons so that the landlord can renovate and convert their units to Airbnb in order to receive a higher return for each unit.

I think what would be best is to have a big formal educational meeting, and smaller subgroup meetings to introduce investors with similar interests.
