@Paul Lee I don't see the problem being with duplexes and triplexes, but more-so elevators, subways and traffic jams.

White subway tile is timeless and most people find it appealing.

Six years later and as I turn 31, I couldn't have imagined that through all of the challenges and hurdles that I had to overcome along the way, not having enough money in my pocket at one point to buy a subway pass for $2.75, that I'd be living the life I am today.

For example subway tile.

Warren Buffet says it best "Wall Street is the only place where someone rides to in a Rolls Royce to get advice from someone who rides the subway"  Once you have grown the amount to an amount that suits you pull it out and dump it on a down payment of a property of your choice, and continue to let inflation benefit you.

I did a backsplash with some white subway tile and a nice glass tile accent strip for next to nothing. 

With the water, subway, new amphitheatre for events with a solid population already.

Although NY is a horrible place to be a landlord or to start a SMALL BIZ , crime is high, subway has become sanctuary for our residents w Mental illness even my boy Rick Moranis gets his *** kicked walking down the street its still my City!!!

Instead of a fiberglass tub / shower surround, I went with an oversize white subway tile, with a "ripple" texture.

Brandon  I think one can buy any business that's successful  be it landlording business or what have you and produce positive cash flow that pays for your home... you can buy a few subways and make money on those and they will pay for you home..
