And, as i said, you can get the more expensive solution bars (Which can be quite lovely, honestly, if you shop around--igot some nice wrought iron designs for a historic home) that have the release, so the industry has a wide range to adapt to the laws of that municipality.

The plumbing could have lead supply lines and galvanized supply lines, and the waste lines could be clay, "Orangeburg" (Black coal-tar impregnated fiber piping), and even cast iron waste can develop cracks especially if the lines go unused for long periods.
