Other things like the solar panel, you may not have known enough about to know it produced more than you needed (which is actually a good thing as then you get money back from the electrical company even if that goes to paying other utilities).

With some of our solar panel lenders for example, you can go as low as ~3.99% (with a high upfront fee) up to ~9.5-10% with no or very low fee. hope this helps

Based on my research, new constructions don’t qualify for majority of tax incentives, such as Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit, with the exception of the NY Solar Tax Credit for solar panels and electric chargers.

It has served me well so far.Exterior paint : $2.00 per finished sqftInterior paint : $1.30 per finished sqftWindows and Doors : $300 eachKitchen : $2500 for 10' cabinets and sinkBathroom : $2500Flooring : $2.50 per finished sqft ( does not matter Carpet,hardwood or laminate)Electrical Panel : $1500Water Heater : $500Furnace : $3500AC : $1500Add up all the major items and then add 25% to the sum to account for miscellaneous expenses.This should give you a good estimate of repairs.If the entire inside of a house needs to be renovated just factor $15-$20 per sqft.Hope this helps.
