Best finance option for personal home renovation

Hi. I've been wanting to do some renovations since I bought my home 3 years ago, but put it off. Now I'm a little hesitant due to higher interest rates. Would a HELOC be the best best option here or is there some sort of other creative finance I can look into? Mortgage balance is around $390k and value should be around $650-$700 maybe. If HELOC is best way to go, is there a specific bank you recommend?

@Maxwell Silva the better HELOC products come from smaller, more local banks in our communities. So, I would certainly ask other people local to you on this. Facebook might have some good local groups for you. Search for "New Jersey Real Estate Investor" and some of those groups have thousands of members. Join there and ask the question in those groups. That's probably the best technique to finding good anything local really...HELOC lenders included.
