When starting out, you need to earn their trust and faith that you will follow through. 

Credit unions in principle exist to serve a community of people tied by a “bond of association,” which may be based on location, employer, faith, membership in another organization, or other factors." 

The tenant who made the payment faithfully or the landlord who's  simply made the convenience of online pay available.  

I was recently approached by a faith based non profit interested in renting space to place parolees. 

Basically she told me that she thought I lost faith in her ability to sell the house and she thought we should part ways.

However, rather than a drawn out email/text thing, I'm thinking to give her a $100 good faith, goodwill gesture refund without making sure it is not a admission of guilt or liability. 

I personally stay within my own market because of my knowledge and faith in the area, but I think you've got a solid plan.

After that this business will require you to take a leap of faith into someone at some point. 

I've got someone I trust who is working purely on faith because he believes in what we're doing and trusts that everything will work out in the end. 

I avoid going into a panic because I have faith that God, not Obama is in control.Jeff
