Somebody wanting to sue for you backing out of a bad deal or accusing you of selling them a property with defects like unknown termite damage).

But don't let them off the hook with vague accusations or half-thought-out advice.

I'm not accusing this company of doing that, but it these posters do follow the same pattern . . . they post one positive post about the company in question and then disappear.I hope to see you jump in and get active here on the site.

I would also check city rules here too, I know some cities in Colorado limit how early we can start loud work, while this is rarely enforced, you could be accused of trying to squeeze out the other tenants by being having the construction noise be a nuisance for them.

I also recommend that you do an inspection sometime in between rent payments; give legal minimum notice and take a witness with you. 

I have been feverishly reading the forums over the last few days and I have been blown away by the openness and the hospitality that I have witnessed.

The inspector accused me of moving the staircase to the basement and said I would have to kill the stairs if I didn't bring it to code. 

it's basic and it hits home, big time.i can't tell you how many people i've met and said to myself, "how the hell did this guy do all this - he's a half-wit!"
