The news went from background noise to bad to apocalyptic in one single week.There was no way I could move forward with all the uncertainty. 

Because so many will get caught sneaking in a cat or dog and when you hit them with a violation they claim our application only asked about pets.So I have an "Animal Policy" that addresses requirements for pets and service animals and it includes all the things Richard mentions about noise, control, cleaning up, damages, etc.

Lots of noise over STR's and the impending rule and regulation changes the city of Atlanta is going to create after its all over. 

The little clanging noise they make when I open the door is not the least bit annoying--in fact, the louder it is, the bigger I smile.

For example, once they called saying the refrigeratior wasn't working right because it was making weird noises.

In general carpet is out but if you need to have it due to noise get an updated look.
