I've been working Security for a building in downtown Honolulu since 2008 and have watched people purchase units and convert them into rentals time and time again, and have witnessed how some of the smarter and more knowledgeable owners have generated wealth for themselves that appear to be both rewarding life-changing for them and their families. 

@Johnson H. recently witnessed a player in my market who has been striking deals and making money hand over fist in today's market, last year and the year before.

To correct the problem, I was told by a probate attorney's assistant (because of my prior experience as a legal secretary) that I should prepare a small estate affidavit, having the document signed, notarized by all siblings and two witnesses.

I'm not an expert but do have some good experience in residential real estate and have never been accused of lacking creativity when it comes to acquiring houses.

I have never witnessed such pompous attitudes in my lifetime....

I don't think non-NYC Brokers realize the level of sophistication that certain elements work over here but I think you all hear about it.Even Kushner Companies have been accused of corruption in his dealings with Rent Regulated Apts.

It's all done during a video conference call so the notary actually witnesses the signing.
