I've been looking at some places in Windsor Hills and some are truly unattractive... wonder how many vacationers bypassed them for some place that was nicely updated?

I'm trying to think of something edgy but no so much as to turn off vacationers.

Our area is a hot destination for Europeans including German, French, and English vacationers.

I know it's property / area specific but in general do vacation properties generally cash flow or is it mostly a break even that allows you to vacation cheaply while vacationers pay your mortgage?

Alternatively, we instead of making the home a long term we've turned it into a vacation rental as that type of home is more appealing to short term vacationers.

For just a week or two is a vacationer and would be more like the kind of "contract" you sign when you check into a hotel. 

If your property in KY can appeal to vacationers that can't make it to Hawaii or Europe or go cruising because of restrictions, this might be the perfect time to jump in!

I have a STVR in an area that is ripe with vacationers but I have no idea how strong or what the long term rental market is like. 

If the traffic is any indication I would say there’s been a big drop in vacationers in PF/Gat this year.

I'm curious who your target rental client is - Families passing through/business travelers/vacationers?
