That seems sketchy to me and possibly not legal (check local rules) RUBS os a method for a third party to install water meters, bill tenants for actual usage, but you are ultimately on the hook for the bill with the water co.

Sarah, we meet again....almost the same questions;My impression is that you are not studying here on BP and are following or trying to follow other materials, for L/Os, I suggest you ONLY study here and throw anything else you have in a closet or the trash.As Jay mentioned, it's pretty much already been said and is on BP.Your approach as I told you, needs to be from a position of knowledge, you must understand L/Os inside and out if you have no real money, I'm assuming again, but that's what I'm getting.

If the reason for the prohibition os S corps is for IRS tracking, then it should be okay because I would pay tax on the disbursements every year so it isn't as if I am "contributing" to my IRA.

If this is the real issue, then start OS with the plan to build up equity/cash/knowledge/credit so you can get into the BA market.
