We put out feelers a number of months back and 4 students/recent graduates offered about $4,000/mo to rent by the room.

New Bern sports it's largest school being Craven Community College with about 2600 enrolled students in 2020, of which about 27% are full time students. 41 Students graduated in 2020, which was about 30% of the class.

I am currently a graduate student in the Chicagoland area and I am aiming to purchase my 1st rental property (ideally a house-hack in a 3+ unit property) this summer / fall (ideally in Chicago or nearby suburbs).

I am currently a college student looking to invest in real estate as soon as possible after graduation.

I am narrowing down my decision to buying a duplex in College Station(where I will be going to back to school in the fall) and renting out one room then both once I graduate or a single family home in pearland, which I will house hack for a year than turn into a long term. 

I would caution you though, many groups you will find are run by people who likely hadn't even graduated high school when the financial crisis hit, and many have only been in real estate the last couple years.  

To give some context, I am about to graduate high school in May, but I desire to start wholesaling now to eventually reach the point of doing house flipping later.

Additionally, I am not house-hacking since I will be relocating after graduation, but would want to keep my investment property in the area near my university. 

However, I have been interested in real estate since graduating from college and always wanted to invest in it, but I don't really know where to start.
