IF, they are supposed to cut the power when there’s a fire then they have to buy a bunch of Tesla’s mega pack batteries to power the water pumps.

It is what is left after snow removal, cutting the grass, utilities, tenant issues, parking lot issues, property taxes, mortgage payment, etc. that make a difference.

I can see when they're cleaning the pool, cutting the grass, servicing the HVAC unit outside, etc.

suggest you find a different attorney firm to work with...they'll take a cut, but worth it.

I would protect myself and cut my losses so I was not looking over my shoulder or getting high blood pressure every time I heard a knock on the door (hoping it is not the FBI showing up to ask you some questions). 

My concern is more in the legalese of the deal.

While I didn't love the 30% cut they took, I was happy to have it in experienced hands (and a lot of what they did, advised, etc. was on-track with what I had researched, discovered here and on other STR forums).

My partner and I don't get a cut of any of the money invested, it's a flat-fee membership club.
