I was approached by Avantstay and wondered if anyone in this forum has had experience with them from owner point of view.

@Darlene S.@Kevin Luttrell@Tawney HillI just signed with Avant Stay and I got a pretty good amount of information about what they do. It seems like a pretty good deal. They make you an offer on your house on a 12 month lease. I own a 4 bedroom property in Western Carolina and they offered me $5,200 per month and they pay utilities and landscaping. Its a 12 month lease but they have the option to renew in 12 month increments for the next four years. As the owner, I don't actually have the option to opt out at anytime during those 4 years but they do a 3 percent increase each year and my mortgage is only $1,800 so I think its a pretty good deal. They invest their own money into furniture and other things to enhance the listing. If they back out after the 12 months, they will try to negotiate a deal for you to buy the upscale furnishings from them. I learned some other stuff too. Let me know if anyone wants to talk about it. I think this might be a good way to buy short term rentals but not have as much of a headache from managing it yourself.
