Find a mentor and be like a Pilot fish.

If NYC has the names/addresses of people - then they stand a greater chance of being penalized.From my understanding - NYC has already been penalizing those that the city has been deeming big players in the airbnb business and mostly let go of the small fish.

I also like a lot of water sports like surfing, paddle boarding, diving, fishing, foraging, and motorcycle stuff.I can justify the expense because I call it a "business facility" and I always love going in there to organize and play with my toys or work on my ventures.

One thing I would like to do is broaden my network both on here and locally. 

You would probably be a big fish in their pond.

I’m at the stage where I have an a hard money lender, I’m prequalified and I have made a few offers so im waiting for one fish to bite. 

I will do some research with the city now that you all have broadened my view on this.

As such, I would like to broaden my network and get to know other investors.My immediate goal is to eliminate my rent expense through house hacking as this process sounds the most appealing to me.

Current primary residence is a 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath, 2 acre lot, with a fenced in, in-ground pool and 20x20 koi fish pond.
