"calls" so you could shoot for a goal of 25 new conversations per week, give your card to everyone, have your elevator speech, and when you approach someone to give them a card, say like in the grocery store or something, you could say "Excuse me would you be affended if I gave you my business card", ... that is going to allow them to let down their defenses, and more than likely open up communication.

His accomplishment in attaining the Presidency of the United States by a winning the poular election and becoming the first black president cannot be minimized, yet with the exception of his speech to the NAACP, where he proclaimed that "Having a Black President means there are no more excuses," he has repeatedly downplayed and not addressed issues of race with the exeption of totally screwing up the Professor Gates debacle.IMO, he has the greatest opportunity ever, without a single tax and spend dollar, to realize MLK's ""I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

Tod,Funny :DBut on a more serious note, we have had a few pols come visit my day job and give a brief speech followed by Q&A session; they don't like the Q's I ask (and I am one of the few in the crowd of several hundred who will actually ask something challenging to put them on the spot) :wink:So the pols don't want me around them.
