Final word of warning; Fulton County (where Atlanta is, mostly), is a bit of an anomaly in that the tax commissioner has transferred their tax liens on most properties to various sub-entities of Vesta holdings, Investa Holdings, investa services, etc... , and then the Sheriff's office is auctioning those liens off, rather than directly from the Tax office.
