I’m a Canadian living in Australia for the past 16 years and have just started to search for some deals in Aus.

I'm from Australia, where each State has a mandatory Torrens titling system, whereby being listed in the Land Register is definitive evidence of absolute ownership.

@Todd Powell had a family friend some months ago who was on vacation in Australia and made a private FB post of a in poor taste South African joke that any South African from Durban would totally relate to, but, someone got hold of it and spun this thing out on FB and then onto youtube as rampantly racist, and it went viral world wide.

Then a relocation to Australia forced me to hire a PM and implement systems.

. :) When back in Australia in 2012 I met a lot of young kids renting rooms in upscale homes, because they simply could not afford to buy their own housing or the inflated rents of apartments or condos. 

He lives in Australia and the home I closed with him was in GA.

Situation:I specialised in property development and real estate in Canada, Australia and the UK and got burnt out and decided to take 2018 and majority of 2019 off to travel.

Hi all I have been investing in Australia and the Philippines for the past 15 years.I lean towards buy renovate and rent , but also looking at renovate to sell as well .My wife and I have  7 rental properties and  2 commercial properties  we also have some experience with renovating properties (3  so fare ) and we have done ok doing the work ourselves.
