If you got a 2.3% interest rate, and the housing market is kind of flat, don't cash out re-fi. 65% equity is great, keep it, and let it grow some at that 2.3%.

Hi Jennifer,I did not do anything yet....just speculating right now (wanting to do this)....I of course would have an out clause of financing and inspecting...my question is, is it fine and is it the norm to go into a contract hoping to flip it but not being able to honor the contract f I don't find an assignee...if not what other ways is this done...any ideas as well would help as I am new to this.Thanks

Conventional financing will require the same criteria for re-fi as for a purchase....i.e. debt to income, credit history, employment history, reserves, property condition and value ect...
