While 12 month leases are the norm, there are more quads recently that are accommodating short term clients with a much higher yield.  

They are not as accommodating as they once were... especially in areas the city has targeted for development. 

And to accommodate the cost of living based on the different city I am planning to look at the percentage contribution of the total income(Example: 40% rent, 20% food, 10% transportation etc) which should account for the cost of living

They are 4 adults and 4 kids.Their reason for not taking me up on my offer to let them stay somewhere else is that they said its unreasonable to find last minute accommodations and the cost was prohibitive.They're claiming false advertising (due to the omission) and the guy with a bad back got zero sleep and his dream vacation was ruined.

I think that my location would lend itself better to people traveling for business or family, but I think I can accommodate accordingly.
