Jack Seiden 2024 Real estate market predictions
16 November 2023 | 19 replies
@John Morgan So it’s interesting between the three of us, predictions ranging from negative price growth to moderate price growth to market reheating, I think some of that may have no to do with our local markets, which is why I find this so fascinating, I even think the example of a young family struggling to get buy vs a family desperate to buy really points the bifurcated economy right now, will be really interesting to see play out, I think the two metrics I’ll be following is active inventory county, and I haven’t quite worked this out yet but there’s probably some equilibrium of rate drop to unemployment rate that should tell us if affordability improving or job loss matters more going foward.

Joe S. Luxury vinyl tile versus ceramic tile
9 February 2024 | 31 replies
Because you'll likely be using barely enough mortar for repair jobs like this, t's usually wise to use the most highly-modified and expensive thinset mortar you can afford for this sort of thing.Let the installed tile set for a day and then apply premixed mortar with a putty knife and your finger (and perhaps a float) to fill in the gaps around the tile. From Moderator: Personal insults add nothing to the discussion.
