One of the most overlooked aspects of real estate investing is that at its core, you are becoming a business owner, regardless of whether you are looking to purchase an investment or become actively involved in another sector of the industry.

@Jeremy Shinall I think we are going to see significant growth on 415 especially within the commercial sector.

Even though my goal in real estate is to play in the commercial and bulk REO sector. obviously I need to build up some cash first.

And as others said, yes, this sector is hot.

The best performing commercial sector for the last 10 years has been senior housing, but that performance wil pale in comparison to how the senior housing sector will perform over the next 5-10 years.  

Banks are not the only source for money in the commercial sector.

I've recently gotten to connect with @Elizabeth Faircloth - she and her husband @Matt Faircloth are extremely knowledgeable in the multi-family sector.  

I  am guessing the city is going sector by sector or have some form of pattern to deciding who get fix now or later.

I have a job way outside of the real estate sector, and I am finding that I just can't get my hands on that other vital source of information, which is the people who have been in the business for years, and have that incredible amount of knowledge gained through good old fashioned experience.
