I am sure you could assemble a team of cleaners, managers etc that would be more economical, but in my area of Banner Elk, Blue Ridge seems to be the goto choice.

You need solid cleaners, landscapers, SNOW PLOW, but I know you know all that since your wife is from the area. 

Check with your enemies to find a cleaner.

E.g. if you want two towels left on the bed you can require the cleaner to take a picture showing it was done.

I rely on my cleaners for information on repairs and supplies.

Turnovers for your cleaners without electricity are nearly impossible.

CPAs, consultants with my deal analysis, investor-friendly agents to help find deals, contractors and handy people to help with getting the property up to standard, cleaners, gardeners, etc to get the units ready for sale or rent, agents to manage the rentals and marketing people to help get the units sold or rented. 

-If you can include the cost of a monthly cleaner into the rent, it is well worth it.

The other half is that nobody else, including your property managers and your cleaners, can spend more hours than you.
